After years and years of working in the Outdoor Industry, we are tired of the bullshit in our packages from companies who claim their ethos is saving the planet.
We are putting our packaging where our mouth is.
Hover's packaging is bland yet tasteful. We strive to use reusable/recyclable materials. We try our best to limit our plastic usage as best we can.
The inner child in us wants to think of receiving our packages as if you were on the moon receiving a package from NASA/SpaceX.
Any package you receive from us will come in a cardboard box or kraft mailer. These can be recycled or repurposed. We don't like the idea that we're shipping you something that you just discard as soon as you open it.
For our Wall Mounts (and other small items), we wrap each set in brown kraft paper. Apart from its superior strength and protection, it is 100% eco-friendly. It degrades naturally within a few weeks, decomposing just like leaves that fall off a tree. (Regardless if it makes it into the recycling bin)
It leaves no impact on the environment – this is important to us and we hope to you.
Our packaging tape is made from reinforced kraft paper to provide optimal security for your shipments and to make recycling your boxes easier.
Currently, the only plastic product we use is shipping tape to adhere our shipping labels.
It is a goal of ours to try and replace this with eco-friendly shipping labels - this is harder than you think, but we'll get it figured out here shortly.
